Can I join NDA coaching after 10th?
Yes. After Class 10 you can join our NDA Foundation course, which combines Class 11-12 schooling with NDA and SSB preparation, so you are ready to apply as soon as you become eligible.
When is the NDA (I) 2027 exam?
As per the UPSC calendar for 2027, the NDA (I) 2027 notification is due on 2 December 2026, the last date to apply is 22 December 2026 and the exam is on 11 April 2027. Confirm the final dates on upsc.gov.in once the notification is released.
When should I join NDA coaching for NDA (I) 2027?
Join as early as possible. A 6-month batch started now covers the full run-up to the NDA (I) 2027 exam in April 2027, while the 1-year course covers both NDA (I) and NDA (II) 2027.
Can girls apply for NDA?
Yes. Unmarried women are eligible for the NDA exam on the same educational and age criteria as men, with separate physical standards. NDDA has a separate girls' hostel on campus.
Is PCM compulsory for NDA?
For the Army wing, Class 12 in any stream is enough. For the Air Force and Naval wings and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy, you need Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Students appearing in Class 12 can also apply.
What is the NDA exam pattern and negative marking?
The NDA written exam has two papers: Mathematics (120 questions, 300 marks) and the General Ability Test (150 questions, 600 marks), each of 2.5 hours. Wrong answers carry negative marking of one-third of the marks for that question. Candidates who qualify then face the SSB interview of 900 marks.
Is SSB interview preparation included in NDA coaching?
Yes. Our NDA course includes SSB preparation — psychology tests, GTO tasks, group discussion and personal interview practice. Candidates who have already cleared the written exam can join our 15-day SSB interview course.
Do you provide hostel facility for NDA students?
Yes. NDDA has separate boys' and girls' hostels with mess food, 24/7 security and CCTV, and a weekly medical check-up by a retired Army medical officer. Hostel is included in the "with hostel" NDA fee plans.
Should I prepare for NDA or CDS?
NDA is for students who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 and are about 16.5–19.5 years old. CDS is for graduates. If you are already in college, see our CDS coaching in Dehradun.
