Educational Qualifications:
The candidate must have passed class 12/ Intermediate in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with a minimum of 60% in aggregate and 50% in each subject. The candidate must have had English and Mathematics / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class X or Class XII with a minimum of 50% marks in each issue.
Age Limit
Age: 17½ years to 23 years
Selection Process:
Individuals who can qualify with their required eligibility criteria are then permitted for the further selection process. The selection process requires the applicants to participate in different tests.
Each of the included tests has a particular factor as its base. The various tests included in the procedure are the Indian Army GD physical fitness test, intelligence ability test, and medical test.
• Stage-1 Physical Fitness Test
• Stage-2 Written Exam
Stage 1- Physical Fitness Test
Commonly known as the Army Soldier GD physical fitness test, this test is the first to qualify.
Individuals selected for this test are required to accomplish the following tasks.
• 1.6 Km Running: Qualifying
• Pull-Ups: Qualifying
• Zig-Zag Balance: Qualifying
• Nine Fit Ditch Jump: Qualifying
Stage 4 – Written Exam
Individuals who have cleared the fitness test are further called for the written exam, an intelligence ability test. The selection of candidates in this test is determined by their respective scores in the written exam.
